Introduction of IYS volunteer team
The volunteer team aims at assisting and facilitating the rundown of the symposium. It comprises hospitality, program support, IT & technical and catering services. Each service type has different work nature, hence we are recruiting volunteers with different skills and interests so as to consolidate an all-round volunteer team. We sincerely invite you to join our team in hope to contribute to the international youth symposium.
Role of volunteers throughout the IYS
- Hospitality: Pick up delegates in the airport, cater for their needs and inquiries during the symposium etc.
- Program support: Assist organizing committees in carrying out various programs etc.
- Technical and IT: Update of the IYS facebook page, set up computers for organizing committees etc.
- Catering: Distribute meals to delegates, set up tables before meals etc.

Requirement of volunteers
- Hong Kong resident
- Aged 16+
- Helpful
- Responsible
- Enthusiastic to meet new friends
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to attend the briefing session on 24/11 (Sun) 2-4pm
