Manager, Stakeholder Engagement

Are you a strategic storyteller with a passion for social impact? As our Manager, Stakeholder Engagement, you will serve as the creative heart of YMCA of Hong Kong's communications, crafting compelling narratives that bridge our mission with the community. You will lead high-level media relations, brand strategy, and multi-channel content creation to elevate our presence and deepen public trust. This position will be reporting to Senior Manager, Stakeholder Engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement comprehensive corporate communications and public relations strategies to enhance brand awareness for the YMCA of Hong Kong.
• Act as the central content hub; produce high-quality copywriting and develop engaging stories for YMCAHK's O2O (online-to-offline) publications and marketing collateral, including newsletters, leaflets, brochures, videos, and annual reports.
• Lead media engagement, including pitching, crafting press releases, managing media inquiries, overseeing crisis communications, and facilitating media interviews.
• Support the planning, development, and execution of publicity and engagement campaigns for external promotions.
• Proactively engage and network with key stakeholders to further our social commitment, strengthen our brand identity, and build public trust in the YMCA's mission.
• Oversee logistical planning and supervise the execution of corporate events and activities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Journalism, Communications, Languages, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, with at least 5 years at a managerial level. Strong expertise in corporate editorial support and media relations is essential.
• Innovative, proactive, and passionate. You are a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional command of spoken and written Chinese and English, with elite-level writing and presentation skills.
• Deeply aligned with the mission, vision, and values of YMCAHK.

 *Note: Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Manager.
