Our Core Values: Building Character in Kids!At all of our camps, we teach and demonstrate the YMCA’s 4 Core Values - Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility - through games, arts, activities, discussions and leaderships. Everything we do at YMCA Camping is designed to build skills and build character because we understand the impact that camp can have on youth.
Our camps help guide children are exposed to new experiences, new skills and new people to foster the growth of independence, self- reliance, and lifetime social skills. Children at camp build confidence in themselves, have the opportunity to be creative, learn to work well with others, and grow in mind, body and spirit.
